Rwanda's APR will face Zamalek in the CAF Champions League without two of their regular players, local paper Newtimes reported on Wednesday. Defender Mbuyu Twite and first-choice keeper Aime Ndanda will miss out on Saturday's game due to suspension. Zamalek will be hoping to make up for a disastrous Champions League campaign last year, in which they were eliminated at the hands of Sudan's Hilal in the round of 32. The Cairo giants face APR away from home in the first-leg of the competition's preliminary round. They arrived in Kigali on Wednesday morning and are set to train on an artificial-turfed stadium. Meanwhile, APR chief executive officer Jules Kalisa allayed fears that his side could be expelled from the Champions League due to financial troubles. CAF announced recently that Rwanda and four other countries have been disqualified from inter-club competitions after failing to fulfill their financial obligations towards the African governing body. "Ferwafa fulfilled their financial obligations to the Confederation of African Football thus our clubs will participate in CAF inter-clubs competitions," Kalisa insisted.
