Ghana legend Abedi Pele said he is confident of his country's victory over Nigeria in their quarter-finals clash on Sunday. The hosts battle neighbors Nigeria for a place in the African Cup semis and emotions are running high between the two camps. Pele, voted three times as African Player of the Year, said Nigeria's form won't help them stop his countrymen. "Nigeria have doubts. They stumbled against Mali and Ivory Coast and they will again," Pele told BBC Sport. Nigeria advanced to the last eight stage with just four points, as they managed only to beat Benin. They were tied by Mali after losing to Ivory Coast. Ghana, on the other hand, collected maximum points from there three matches. "We have the men who will stand up and be counted on the day. That's where we have the edge," he added. The two sides have a long history of rivalry but the Black Stars have been prevailing constantly during the past ten years.
