Wounded Lions hoping to roar against Zambia
Published in FilGoal on 26 - 01 - 2008

Cameroon will be looking to make amends to their dismal Nations Cup start when they take on Group C leaders Zambia on Saturday.
A win for the Chipolopolo boys, who kicked off their campaign with a 3-0 drubbing of Sudan, will shatter the Lions' hopes of reaching the quarter-finals.
The Zambian camp has been hit by a row over players' bonuses, whilst Cameroon are under the pressure of getting knocked out from the group stage for the first time in 12 years.
However, both sides seem to be confident of success when they meet for the crucial encounter in Kumasi.
Cameroon ace Sameul Eto'o is one goal away from equaling Laurent Pokou's 14-goal record as the competition's all-time top goalscorer.
Cameroon
"We will win our two remaining matches and qualify for the next round," confident Eto'o.
Team News: Cameroon have a fully fit squad, but some changes will be expected from manager Otto Pfister.
Achille Emana and Augustin Binya could come in for Jean Makoun and Landry N'guemo.

Zambia: Great start
Strength: The likes of Eto'o, Song, Idrissou and Geremi have the experience to help the team get over their 4-2 thrashing by Egypt last week.
Weakness: The complete reliance on Eto'o as the main source of goals was obvious during the Egypt game, the Barca star is solely carrying the responsibility.
Probable Line-up: Kameni- Atouba, Geremi, Song, Bikey- Emana, Binya, Mbia, Epalle, Eto'o, Idrissou.
Zambia
"We are hungry to make a name for ourselves and one way we can do that is to beat them," Zambia skipper Chris Katongo.
Team News: Zambia welcome back captain Chris Katongo and Helsingborg's midfielder Isaac Chansa from suspension.
Strength: The return of influential forward C.Katongo will boost the Zambian attack line, who already netted three goals in one game without their top scorer.
Weakness: The pre-match intensity, which involved a row over players' low bonuses could well affect the concentration of the team against the Indomitable Lions.
Probable Line-up: Mweene, Hachilensa, Chinyama, Nketani, Mwanza- Bakala, Kalaba, F.Katongo, J.Mulenga- C.Katongo, Chamanga.
