Liverpool hammered Bolton 4-0 on Sunday to maintain their unbeaten run in the Premier League. Defender Sammy Hyppia connected with Steven Gerrard's free kick to open the score in the 17th minute. Spanish striker Fernando Torres had a magnificent pass by Gerrard to double the lead just a minute before the break. Gerrard himself switched from passing to scoring as he converted a 56th-minute penalty to make it 3-0. Dutch striker Ryan Babbel came off from the bench to get his name on the score sheet as he had the last word with a close-range strike in the 86th minute. Liverpool are now third with 30 points six behind leaders Arsenal.
