Bayern Munich manager Ottmar Hitzfeld gave his players a one-day rest to recharge ahead of their UEFA Cup encounter against Bolton on Thursday. "The players are being given Monday off, so they can recharge mentally," the German tactician was quoted saying on the club's website on Tuesday. "The Frankfurt match cost us a lot of energy. We kept up a very high tempo from the first minute until the last" Hitzfeld was more than delighted to see his squad at full strength after the recovery of France playmaker Franck Ribery and his fellow countryman Willy Sagnol. However, the latter needs more time before resuming full action, follwoing his recovery from a serious knee injury. Bayern are on top of the UEFA Cup group F with three points after winning their group stage opener against Red Star Belgrade 3-2.
