Veteran defender Paolo Maldini, 39, has been included in AC Milan's squad that will take on Athletic Bilbao in a friendly on Friday for the first time since knee surgery in May. Manager Carlo Ancelotti announced his squad on Thursday and is set to give some action to the Rossoneri captain. Elsewhere Brazilian striker Ronaldo has been left out as he seems not fit yet. His fellow country man Alex Pato is set to take a starting role along side with Alberto Gilardino. The Serie A is on hold actually, just like the most of the European leagues, due to the Euro 2008 qualifiers that will take place next week.
