Milan defender Kakha Kaladze is set to be sidelined for a long spell due to a knee injury he sustained during the 1-0 victory over Zurich, the Italian club said. Kaladze was forced out of the game after just 30 minutes with a knee injury and Milan's medical staff said later that "a ligament problem" was found in his left knee. The Georgian international is confirmed out of Milan's game with Cagliari in the Serie A on Sunday. He joins a growing injury list that also includes defenders Philippe Senderos and Alessandro Nesta. The injury leaves manager Carlo Ancelotti with no options but captain Paolo Maldini and Daniele Bonera in the heart of the defense.
