Furious Mido scores as Boro hold Magpies
Published in FilGoal on 26 - 08 - 2007

Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' scored on his home debut as Middlesbrough played out a 2-2 draw with Newcastle United in the Premiership on Sunday.
Charles N'Zogbia put the visitors ahead in the 22nd minute but Mido, who scored last weekend against Fulham, was on target again to equalize six minutes later.
Newcastle striker Mark Viduka scored against his old club 14 minutes from time before Julio Arca secured a share of spoils three minutes later.
Newcastle's right-back Stephen Carr had to be replaced after just five minutes due to injury, making way for Peter Ramage.
Nigerian pacy striker Obafemi Martins had the first chance for the visitors in the 16th minute after he headed down a long ball in Middlesbrough area before hitting a right-footed strike just wide.
N'Zogbia stunned the home crowd six minutes later when his superb curling shot from the edge of the area went into the right top corner of the net.
However, Mido, who has just returned to Egypt squad for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Burundi, leveled the score in the 28th minute.
The former Tottenham Hotspur man brilliantly chested Fabio Rochemback's long ball before rounding Newcastle keeper Steve Harper and slotting into the empty net.
Mido made furious gestures at Newcastle fans who apparently provoked him during the game. He was booked afterwards.
Australian international Viduka restored Newcastle's lead in the 76th minute after capitalizing on a poor marking by Jonathan Woodgate to flick the ball and volley home.
Arca leveled the score for Boro again shortly after with a superb low shot from the edge of the area.
