A second-half penalty from Dutch playmaker Rafael van der Vaart clinched the victory to Hamburg, where Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan plays , over Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 on Sunday. The 24-year-old captain scored from the spot, 64, after defender Arturo Vidal handballed Romeo Castelen's ball. The win put Hamburg into second place in the table just behind Bayern Munich who have a better goal difference. Zidan could have opened the score twice but the post and the bar cruelly denied him from scoring his first official goal for Hamburg. Defender Arturo Vidal was severely punished for stopping with his hand a fine cross from Castelen.
