Barcelona Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o said he hopes to be excused from joining the Indomitable Lions trip to Asia to take on Japan next week. "I am trying to reach an agreement with the Cameroon football federation to not make this trip," Eto'o said. "I have just got back from a tour of Asia and I do not want to have insomnia and other problems again. "If there is no agreement, I will travel and play and when I return I will be available to the coach if I am in shape," he added. Cameroon face Japan in Tokyo on August 22. Barcelona kicks off its Primera Liga campaign next weekend with a match against Racing Santander.
