Wydad Casablanca President Tayeb El Fechtali quit his post following his team's 1-0 home defeat against Ismaili in the CAF Cup fourth round on Sunday night. The club's official website confirmed the news on Tuesday saying that El Fechtali decided to step down on Monday and the whole board of directors followed his lead later on. El Fechtali was verbally and physically attacked after the match and during his exit way from the stadium. Wydad, one of the top flight clubs in the Moroccan League, are having a horrible season as they are out of the title race, eliminated from the CAF Champions League and now they are very close from the exit door of the CAF Cup as they lost at home against Egyptians Ismaili 1-0 and it could have been worst. Both sides will meet again in two weeks in Ismailia.
