Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri has underlined the importance of beating Petrojet on Monday to be officially crowned Egyptian League winners for the third successive season. The 2-2 draw between Zamalek and Ismaili on Thursday paved the way for Ahli's celebrations to take place in case the African champions grab a victory over the Petroleum club. "We have no alternative but to win to wrap up the league title," Al-Badri told the club's official website on Friday. If the Red Devils won they will be 14 points clear of second-placed Ismaili with just four matches to go and 16 ahead of Zamalek who have one game in hand. Ahli fans fear that the team's crushing 4-0 friendly defeat to Spanish giants Barcelona will affect the players' morale but Al-Badri insisted they only took the positives out of the game. "We gained benefits from playing against such a high-profile team," Al-Badri concluded.
