Graz AK are set to be relegated at the end of the season as the club announced on Friday the acceptance of the 28-point deduction imposed by the Austrian Federation. Wael Riyad's team committed several administrative and financial errors that cost him this huge sanction. Graz AK appealed against the decision in civil court and won it. But the board of directors made a U-turn on their decision and announced their acceptance of the decision in fear of a more aggravated sanctions from FIFA, whose rules totally prohibit any claims in front of civil courts. Graz AK had 33 points and now after the deduction they are at the bottom of the table with just 10 points and are sure to go down at the end of the season.
