Sevilla fell two points off the title race after they were held to a goalless away draw by Osasuna in the Primera Liga, while Real Madrid registered a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Celta Vigo. At Estadio Reyno de Navarra, Sevilla created several opportunities but couldn't deliver despite the presence of the league's top scorer Frederic Kanoute. Sevilla are second in the table with 54 points, two adrift of leaders Barcelona who defeated Deportivo La Coruna 2-1 on Saturday. Elsewhere, Real Madrid needed a late Robinho header to grab a 2-1 away victory over Celta Vigo. Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy put the visitors ahead in the 28th minute from the penalty spot after he was brought down by Celta keeper Jose Pinto. Lopez Angel leveled the score one minute before the break when he fired into the bottom corner of the net after being set-up by Anderson Nene's brilliant back-heel pass. Substitute Robinho sealed the precious win seven minutes from time when he capitalized on Pinto's poor block from a cross to head into the empty net. Real midfielder Guti was sent-off in stoppage time for arguing the referee's decision to hand him a yellow card.
