CAF has excluded Ghanaian side Tema Youth from the Confederation Cup after missing the first-leg game against Astres Douala of Cameroon in the competition's round of 32. Tema Youth will be also banned from playing in African competitions for the next three years, according to CAF official website. The suspended club have missed the match on March 4th without a justification, however it is reported that the club are having a financial crisis. Astres Douala were granted an automatic qualification to the last 16 where they will meet either Angolan side Luanda Benfica or Motema Pemba of DR Congo.
