Egyptian defender Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa is not for sale during the winter transfer window, his Turkish side Konyaspor insisted. Konyaspor turned down Al-Saqqa's request to return to Egypt in January despite his verbal agreement with Zamalek, according to the international center-back. "They refused to discuss any financial details and said that any move out of the club won't be considered before the end of the season," the 32-year-old told FilGoal.com. Al-Saqqa has been to Egypt for one day during which he agreed terms with Zamalek as he wants to return home for family reasons. The two-time African Cup of Nations winner said that he will retry to persuade the Konyaspor administration to approve the deal before Monday. Zamalek are keen on signing Al-Saqqa to reinforce their back line even more after landing Tunisian defender Wissem El-Abdi.
