Ahli have singed Ahmed Adel form Olympic Alexandria on a three-and-half year contract for EGP 1.5 million, the African champions said on Sunday. The player will link up with his team mates after Ahli play Asyut Petroleum on Monday, the club said on their website. Olympic demanded landing Ahli players Ahmed Galal, Rami Rabie and Mohamed Mahmoud on loan till the end of the season as a part of the deal, a FilGoal.com correspondent in Alexandria. Ahli had no problems in loaning the trio should manager Manuel Jose approved the move. The 23-year-old right back has been close on joining Zamalek, who started talks with his side in December. But their arch-rivals Ahli, who have Islam Al-Shater, Ahmed Sedik and Mohamed Abdullah in the same position, managed to lure Adel. Meanwhile, Ahli are reportedly on the brink of landing Tunisian midfielder and Sfaxien captain Anis Boujelbene. Ahmed Swelam, the player's agent, told FilGoal.com that Boujelbene, 29, will arrive in Cairo late on Sunday to conclude talks with Ahli officials.
