Zamalek suffer Hossam blow

Follow-up-Ahmed Saied: Zamalek have suffered a blow after right-back Ahmed Hossam injured his toe in his side's Arab Champions League (ACL) 1-0 victory over Ahli Jeddah on Sunday.
"I carried on playing the match despite suffering a fractured toe," Hossam told FilGoal.com on Monday.
"The doctor told me not to participate in Zamalek's upcoming Egyptian League game against ENPPI," he added.
Zamalek's new coach Henri Michel fielded Hossam, who was out of favor in the past period, in the Ahli match and the 25-year-old put in an impressive display.
The Cairo giants revived their hopes of qualifying to the ACL semis after edging Ahli 1-0.
Natural playmaker Youssef Hamdi filled the right-back role due to Zamalek's shortage of options in this position but failed to impress.
