Ahli bat ASEC 2-0

L'équipe égyptienne d'Ahli a pris une option pour la finale de la Ligue des Champions en battant l'ASEC d'Abidjan sur le score de 2-0, le dimanche soir à l'occasion des matchs allers de la demi-finale.
Mohamed Abou Tréka a ouvert le score à xxème minute après un jeu très spectaculaire qui a commencé par un centre de Tarek Al-Saïd à Amr Samaka qui a éliminé un défenseur et l'a placé au numéro 22 des Rouges seul face au gardien.
10 minutes plutard Emad Meteab transforme un autre beau centre d'Al-Saïd au fond des filets par la tête pour doubler le score.
Lors de cette période les Rouges auraient pu au moins ajouter deux buts en raison du médiocre niveau du gardien ivoirien mais le manque d'imagination de Meteab surtout a gardé le score tels qu'il est.
En deuxième période les visiteurs ont pris les commandes du match et ont pu pousser les Rouges à se replier dans leur milieu de terrain. Mais pourtant ils n'ont pas pu menacer le gardien Essam Al-Hadari.
Il était très clair la supériorité physique des ivoiriens en comparaison aux joueurs d'Ahli qui ont perdu le rythme à partir de la 60ème minute. Mais il faut dire qu'Ahli a eu une occasion d'or pour Meteab qui a raté les buts en plaçant une tête facile aux mains du gardien alors qu'il n'était qu'à mois de six mètres des buts.
Le match retour se jouera à Abidjan dans deux semaines exactement.
