France coach Raymond Domenech said on Monday that he would like to see two referees officiating football games instead of one. The French Football Federation (FFF) has instructed referees running Ligue 1 games to be stricter concerning shirt-pulling inside the box but Domenech believes this would hamper the game flow. "I 'm in favor of deploying two referees, with more co-ordination between them and their assistant referees," Domenech told the official website of the FFF. "There are rules and there is the spirit of the game. If all the referees applied only the rules, we will see 50 penalties each game." The World Cup finalist manager said he is more interested in watching Premiership games because refereeing keeps the flow going. "I don't mean that matches in England are better, but at least there is something happening because games are not stopped all the time," he added.
