Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said his players need more time to reach full form before getting back on the winning track. The Gunners were handed their first ever Premiership defeat against Manchester City on Saturday as they remained winless after two games in the league. "We cannot finish what we create at the moment," BBC Sport quoted Wenger as saying in the post-match press conference. "But there is a lot of potential in the side and when we are completely ready we will win these games." Captain Thierry Henry failed to score twice with the goal at his mercy and Robin van Persie saw his first-timer blocked by the woodwork before City grabbed the lead four minutes before the break. Justin Hoyte brought Trevor Sinclair down into the area and Joey Barton thundered the resulted spot-kick past Jens Lehmann for the precious winner. "In the last two games we have had a lot of possession but have not made enough out of it through naive mistakes at the back. Arsenal are in 17th place with one point after tying Aston Villa at home in their league opener.
