Werder Bremen made it maximum points from two games after they came back from behind to snatch a 2-1 home win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Miroslav Klose's goal for Bremen cancelled out Paul Freier's opener in the first-half before Hugo Almeida sealed the victory for last season's runners-up 13 minutes from time. The victory put Bremen in second place of the Bundesliga table with six points, behind Nurnberg, who beat Monchengladbach 1-0 on Friday, on goal difference. Freier put Leverkusen ahead in the 15th minute from the penalty spot after Stefan Kiessling was brought down by Petri Pasanen inside the area. World Cup top scorer Klose leveled the score 11 minutes later when he brilliantly headed Ribas Diego's free-kick into the back of the net. Diego was again the provider in the 77th minute when he raced down the left flank before sending a low cross to Almeida who converted it easily into the empty net. Elsewhere, Marko Pantelic scored twice to lead Hertha Berlin to a thrashing 4-0 home victory over Hannover. Pantelic opened the score in the 20th minute before Pal Dardai doubled the lead 11 minutes later. The Serbian striker scored his second in the game three minutes past the hour mark and Patrick Ebert completed the rout in the 76th minute. In other matches, Borussia Dortmund tied Mainz 1-1, Schalke beat Alemmania Aachen 1-0, Energie Cottbus drew 2-2 with Hamburg and Eintracht Frankfurt were held to a goalless draw with Wolfsburg.
