Belgian champions RSC Anderlecht began their local title defense with a 4-2 away victory over Sint-Truiden on Sunday. The game marked Egyptian international Ahmed Hassan's debut in the Belgian league. Bart Goor opened the score for the visitors in the 51st minute before Henri Munyaneza and Asanda Sishuba goals give Sint-Truiden the lead. Sint-Truiden defender Nicky Hayen leveled for Anderlecht with a 77th minute own goal. Rwandan international Mohammed Tchite struck home a late double to give the 'Mauves' their first 3 points of the season. Hassan, who was replaced two minutes before the final whistle, received a yellow card in the 36th minute.
