Le Brésil s'est qualifié pour les quarts de finale de la Coupe du Monde suite à sa victoire 3-0 contre le Ghana.
Logiquement, le Brésil s'est imposé face à Ghana 3-0 en huitièmes de finale de la Coupe du Monde. Ronaldo a inscrit le premier but à la 5ème minute de jeu.
