Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed said he will stay with Zamalek as his problems with the administration have been resolved, just few hours after announcing that he will leave the Cairo club. Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com on Tuesday that a phone call from Zamalek vice president Raouf Gasser convinced him of staying. The Egypt keeper had said on Monday that he will part ways with Zamalek after Gasser opposed the terms of his new contract with the club. But Gasser's call "proved there was a misunderstanding as he and other board members opposed the policies of the club president (Mortada Mansour) concerning signing new players," according to Al-Sayed. He also said that his three-year contract with Zamalek will be approved and take effect in two days at the most, revealing his happiness to defend the White colors next season. Al-Sayed said in May that he was approached by Sheffield United and that he would join the Premiership side should he fail to strike a deal with Zamalek.
