Belgian Justine Henin-Hardenne beat Svetlana Kuznetsova on Saturday to win the French Open title for the third time in history. Henin-Hardenne broke Kuznetsova's serve in the first game and went on to secure the first set 6-4. The Russian restored her form in the beginning of the second set and grabbed a 3-2 lead before Henin-Hardenne stormed back to win the set with a similar score to seal the match. The fifth seed, who snatched the tournament in 2003 and 2005, secured her second grand slam title this season after clinching the Australian Open in January.
