Khaled Talaat: Lokomotiv Moscow striker Amr Zaki said on Thursday that his move to Zamalek has not yet been finalized. The Egypt international told FilGoal.com in a phone interview from Germany, where he is nursing a knee injury, that although his Tunisian agent Reda Al-Deraidi is in the finals stages of negotiating with Zamalek president Mortada Mansour but no "official" agreement has been decided. Zaki, who said that he makes 500,000 euros a year (EGP 3.5 million) with Lokomotiv, said that he is still in negotiations with Mansour over the phone to discuss his salary. "I will agree a move to Zamalek if it is financially rewarding for me," the former Enppi player explained. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old forward said that he would agree a move to any other Egyptian or Gulf-based club if he is offered a better deal. "The door is open for any team that wants to sign because I didn't sign for Zamalek yet.
"Lokomotiv received a number of offers for me from the Gulf. They could choose to sell me to one of the Gulf clubs if their offer surpasses that of Zamalek," he explained. Mansour had announced in a press conference on Wednesday that Zaki had officially signed for Zamalek but refused to announce the details of the move. Egyptian media reports suggest that Zaki's deal is worth EGP 15 million and runs until 2009. Zaki said that Al-Deraidi, who is also representing the Russian club, signed a contract with Mansour because Zamalek's offer was higher than that of Ahli. "Zamalek offered 1.4 million euros (EGP 10.6 million) while Ahli offered only 1.3 million euros," the player said.
