Reinstated Zamalek president Mortada Mansour insisted that he will have nothing to do with the club's football team and insisted that he wont settle any old scores with the players, who he called “his sons”. “I will start reinforcing the team as of this coming period and I'm ready to spend whatever it takes to kick the football team back into shape,” Mansour told FilGoal.com exclusively on Wednesday. Former Youth Minister Mamdouh El-Beltagi decided to dissolve the Mansour board, before the Supreme Administrative Court ruled against the decision and reinstated the original board. Mansour is expected to hold an extraordinary press conference on Thursday in the club headquarters to announce their position during this period and the date for holding the elections for the remaining members of the board. “I wont be seeking to settle any old scores with the football team players, I consider them as my sons,” Mansour added. The Zamalek president is expected to back a self-chosen list of candidates who will run for the board membership during the club's coming elections, an informed source inside the club told FilGoal.com.
