Egypt international Ahmed Fathi said he was not considering a contract extension with Ismaili. Fathi, whose contract with Ismaili expires at the end of next season, said his ambitions exceed playing in the Egyptian league and that he is looking to land a European move, the player told Filgoal.com on Thursday. The 23-year-old winger said that reports linking him to a move to England and Zamalek are far from being true. Ismaili officials had recently opened talked with Fathi to renew his contract along with a number of team players. When asked about Ismaili's below-par performances in the last period, Fathi said: "he players are lacking confidence which causes them to panic in official games and in turn defeat." The Dervishes hold 7th place in the league table on 16 points, ahead of their match against Masri on Thursday.
