Qualification to Champions League is hard, admits Wenger

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger's hopes to secure a Champions League berth next season are fading after the recent string of poor results, the Frenchman admitted.
The 'Gunners' were handed their ninth defeat of the season on Tuesday night at Anfield, losing to Liverpool 1-0.
"Automatic qualification in the top two, certainly not, but qualification is still possible. But it will be hard," BBC Sport quoted Wenger as saying in the post-match press conference.
"The Champions League is important, the reality is there so we just have to fight harder next time."

Arsenal are fifth in the Premiership table, four points behind their London rivals Tottenham Hotspurs who are in fourth place, the last qualifying spot to the Champions League.
Wenger's side advanced to the round of the 16 in the Champions League to set-up a big clash with Real Madrid.
They exit the competition last year from the same round after losing to Bayern Munich 3-2 on aggregate.
