Cameroon boss Artur Jorge insisted that his side will do their best to defeat Ivory Coast in their quarter-finals encounter in the African Cup of Nations (ACN) and qualify to the semi-finals. “We played against Ivory Coast twice before, and we know everything about them,” Jorge told reporters in a press conference after their match against DR Congo on Sunday. The Portuguese coach also insisted that he preferred to rest some of his key-players in their match against DR Congo so that they would help reinforce the team in their quarter-finals match against the Ivorians. Cameroon gave DR Congo a 2-0 drubbing in their Group B final-round match that took place on Sunday thanks to efforts by Samuel Eto'o and Geremi Njitap. On the other hand, DR Congo head coach Claude Le Roy said that the match was a great lesson for them, whether on the tactical or fitness levels and promised to solve all the team's problems during their coming matches. The French caretaker also voiced his discontent with Gladys Bokese's red card and said that he was ashamed of the event. Le Roy didn't make any comments on DR Congo's coming match against Egypt in the African Cup quarter-finals, scheduled on Friday.
