Morocco defender Abdeslam Ouaddou has been ruled out of the African Cup of Nations (ACN) campaign after sustaining a thigh injury. The 27-year-old defender will be sidelined for three weeks after suffering a thigh injury during Morocco's friendly clash against Zimbabwe before the start of ACN. "The Nations Cup is finished for me and it's a big disappointment," Ouaddou told BBC on Sunday. "But I'm going to stay with my team to boost the moral and spirit in camp," he added. Ouaddou missed his country's opening match against Ivory Coast on Saturday and was desperate to play against Egypt on Tuesday. The Stade Rennes defender is set to miss the ACN finals for the second consecutive time as he was omitted in 2002 after a fight with a teammate.
