Egyptian league defending champions Ahli suffered a shock 2-1 defeat in the opening match of the season against Ragaa.
The Reds were stunned by a rocketing strike from Amr Al-Menoufi 13 minutes from time, only for Emad Meteb to equalize shortly after.
As the holders pushed forward for a winner, striker Tarek Salem struck home on the counter, with Ahli's defense nowhere to be seen.
Ragaa jump to the top of the table with nine points from four games, whereas Ahli are point-less at the bottom.
