The opening match of the Egyptian Premier League final round will see Cairo rivals Ahli and Zamalek clash on June 28. The draw for the final round was held on Wednesday, with six decisive matches scheduled to take place over the next three weeks. Smouha and Petrojet vie with Ahli and Zamalek for the league title as they also clash on June 28 in Ismailia. The opening day of the mini league will coincide with the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. The one-leg round robin will see Zamalek host Smouha at Cairo's Air Defense Stadium while Ahli visit Petrojet in Alexandria. The third and final matchday takes place on July 7, with Ahli hosting Smouha and Zamalek playing Petrojet in Alexandria. All matches remain to be staged behind closed doors.
