Egypt star Mohamed Salah was on target as Basel were held to a 2-2 Swiss League home draw with Sion. After the visitors had taken a third minute lead through Vilmos Vanczák, Basel managed to equalize through a magnificent drive by Valentin Stocker in the 57th minute. Salah then hit his side's second in style after latching onto a threaded through pass by skipper Marco Streller before dashing into Sion's own half to slot home with aplomb on 65 minutes. As the Egypt star might have thought Basel were en route to secure a comeback win, Sion managed to frustrate the Swiss champs three minutes from time through Ghanaian starlet Ebenezer Assifuah. Salah's Egypt teammate Mohamed Elneny, who has been sidelined for over a week with a shoulder complaint, made his comeback in the game when he was introduced eight minutes from the end of regular time. It is the second league goal for Salah who already bagged four Champions League goals this season. Basel remain in charge of the league table on 18 points as they host Bundesliga side Schalke in the Champions League in midweek. Salah's magnificent effort Stocker's tremendous goal
