Cape Verde kicked out of WC qualifying

Cape Verde have been disqualified from the 2014 World Cup qualifying playoffs for fielding an ineligible player.
The shock news was announced by FIFA on Thursday, forcing the football governing body to delay their monthly ranking.
FIFA said that Cape Verde, who decisively won 2-0 in Rades on September 7, will be replaced by Tunisia in the 10-nation final round.
The Blue Sharks were sanctioned for violating a four-match ban for defender Fernando Varela.
Tunisia, along with nine other African nations, currently await FIFA's September ranking, which will determine the seeding of the final round draw.
