Ahli's Walid Soliman and Zamalek's Sabri Rahil have been called up to the Egypt squad to replace Mohamed Abdul-Shafi and Nour Al-Sayed. Zamalek duo Abdul-Shafi and Nour pulled out of the squad with minor injuries as Bradley called two replacements to his provisional 30-man list ahead of the World Cup qualifiers. Ahli playmaker Soliman was recalled after making his return from a long-term knee injury, playing two consecutive full games for the first time this season. On the other hand, Zamalek's Rahil replaces his teammate Abdul-Shafi as a backup for first-choice left-back Ahmed Shedid. Egypt play a friendly against Botswana next week before travelling to meet Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
