Egypt and Ahli full-back Ahmed Fathi does not intend to return to Cairo after ending his newly-agreed six-month loan spell at Hull City. Ahli said they agreed a six-month loan move for duo Ahmed Fathi and Geddo to Hull, even though the English club have yet to confirm the transfer. While Geddo had revealed that he intends to resume his career at Ahli after his Hull stint, Fathi is hopeful that the Championship side will help him embark on a permanent overseas adventure. "I'm looking forward to proving my credentials at Hull, hopefully this would be my gate to remain in England," Fathi, 28, told FilGoal.com. "My adventure this time is different from the one I had before at Sheffield United. "I've become more mature and experienced now, I faced so many challenges that made me more confident than when I was at Sheffield." Fathi had a brief English spell at Sheffield United nearly six years ago before switching to Ahli in the summer of 2007. He has become an integral member of the Reds' squad ever since, helping the seven-time African champions to a host of local and continental titles. Promotion hopefuls Hull, owned by Egyptian businessman Assem Allam, are currently third in the Championship table as they take on Millwall in the weekend.
