Egypt assistant manager Diaa Al-Sayed has confirmed the friendly game against Chile in Spain on February 6 as the Pharaohs will announce the squad flying to Madrid in two days' time. The Egyptian FA had agreed the warm-up game with the South Americans early in January, as the Pharaohs gear up for the World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe in March. "The management will announce the squad flying to Madrid for the Chile game this week as it isn't clear whether some injured players will be fit or not," coach Al-Sayed told Ahli's TV channel. "Shikabala is still treating an injury and Hossam Ashour has yet to fully recover from his knee complaint as well. "We are going to start our camp on Saturday as we hope the league would be played." It remains to be seen whether the Egyptian Premier League, due to kick off on Saturday, will be staged amid the ongoing unrest that hit the nation in the aftermath of the Port-Said trial verdict.
