FIVE teachers, who have been arrested for smoking hashish inside a classroom during school hours on Thursday, were referred to Cairo prosecutors for questioning, Education Minister Ahmed Zaki Badr said Friday. Minister Badr said that the police arrested the teachers, whose names would be withheld for legal reasons, for smoking pot in a Cairo secondary school and referred them to the prosecution for questioning. Badr said that he ordered that the teachers be suspended until the interrogations were completed. Security sources said that they expected the five men would be sent to jail if prosecuted and found guilty.
