Egypt's official television Tuesday afternoon broadcast photos of President Hosni Mubarak who is recovering in Germany after an operation to get the gall bladder and a bengin growth removed. The television quoted the medical team as saying that the healtth of Mubarak, 81, was improving in a satisfactory manner. "His physical activity and appetite have improved significantly over the last few days. Accordingly and as of today, no further daily follow-up laboratory investigations are required," said his doctor Markus Buchler on Tuesday. The appearance is his first since the March 6 surgery. He is expected to speak to Egyptians through a TV interview from Germany later this week. Mubarak, 81, has been in power for nearly 29 years.
