CAIRO - The trial of ousted president Hosni Mubarak, his two sons Alaa and Gamal, fugitive tycoon Hussein Salem, and former interior minister Habib el-Adli and his deputies was adjourned yesterday to December 28, the official Middle East News Agency reported. The reason of adjournment is to consider the demand presented by one of the defendant's lawyers, to have the judge in charge of the case replaced. Mubarak, el-Adli and his assistants are charged with giving orders to kill protestors at Tahrir Square during the January-February revolt. Mubarak also along with his two sons and his friend Salem are accused of public fund and power abuse. They are accused as well of involvement in corruption cases.Mubarak is hospitalised at the World Medical Centre while his two sons are being jailed at Tora Prison. El-Adi has already been sentenced in other corruption cases.
