CAIRO - Egypt's Ministry of Justice Sunday ordered the detention of Egypt's ex-Parliament Speaker Fathi Sorour for 15 more days on charges of involvement in a deadly crackdown on protesters last February, Egypt's official Middle East News Agency reported. The local media had figuratively described deadly attacks launched on protesters on February 2 by camel and horse riders hired by symbols of the old regime as the 'Battle of the Camel'. Surour was the Speaker of Parliament since 1991 and a key ruling party figure until the legislature was dissolved following the February. 11 ouster of former president Hosni Mubarak.
