Kuwait – Egypt's Prime Minister Essam Sharaf arrived in Kuwait on Tuesday on the second leg of his Gulf tour, the official Middle East News Agency reported. Sharaf visited Saudi Arabia on Monday where he met Saudi King Abdullah and some other Saudi senior officials. The talks in Kwait focuses on bilateral ties and the ways to push forward relations in all fields. Discussions will also deal with regional political stability in the Gulf with special reference to Kuwait-Cairo relations in the post-Mubarak era. Sharaf is accompanied by Minister of Finance Samir Radwan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nabil el-Arabi and Minister of International Cooperation Fayza Aboul Naga. The visit comes in a turning point not only in the history of Egypt but also in joint Arab action. The trip is the second abroad by Sharaf since taking office last March. He visited Sudan only a few days after swearing in. Sharaf said he would pay visits to UAE and Bahrain.
