RIYADH - Egyptian Prime Minister Monday conferred with Saudi King Abdullah in the first leg of a Gulf tour taking him also to Qatar and Kuwait. The meeting held at the royal palace in Riyadh were joined by senior officials from both countries. The trip is the second abroad by Sharaf since taking office last March. He visited Sudan a few days after becoming Prime Minister. The talks focused on regional political instability and security in the Gulf with special reference to Riyadh-Cairo relations in the post-Mubarak era.
