Russia parl't blames Stalin for massacre

MOSCOW - Russia on Friday blamed Josef Stalin for the 1940 massacre of 22,000 Polish officers at Katyn,in a rare condemnation of the Soviet dictator still regarded as a hero by many.
Russia's lower house of parliament, the State Duma, approved a resolution saying documents kept in secret archives showed Stalin gave a direct order for the massacre, state television Rossiya 24 said.
