TANTA (Egypt)- Tough security measures have been taken hours before a court in the Nile Delta of Town hears Sunday an appeal from two lawyers against their jailing in a sharp dispute with prosecutors. Around 500 policemen are expected to be deployed as 25 security vehicles will encircle the court building during the high-profile hearing, which is expected to draw a large number of lawyers from around the nation to show support for their two convicted colleagues. Last June, the two lawyers Ihab Saa'i and Moustafa Abdel Fattouh were sentenced to jail for five years for assaulting prosecutor Basem Abul Roos whom they alleged had treated them badly. Their case has prompted lawyers to stage a nationwide strike.
