Egyptian beautician Nanis Selim says that, in order to keep their facial skin and hair healthy during the holy fasting month of Ramadan, women should drink plenty of water, soup and other fluids after iftar, especially as the weather is so hot. She recommends people to break their fast with milk and dates. They should also thoroughly wash their faces in the morning and at night before sleeping. “The fasting month is a good opportunity to give your face a rest from heavy makeup, while you should protect your nails by wearing the gloves while doing the washing-up. Covered hair should be washed with children's shampoo because it's free from chemicals,” Selim stresses.
