PORT SAID, Egypt, Oct 9, 2018 (MENA) - Egyptian Health and Population Minister Hala Zayed had talks on Tuesday with Port Said Governor Adel el Ghadban on the latest developments of implementing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's initiative "100 million healthy lives". The initiative is the largest-ever nationwide health campaign to eradicate hepatitis C and other non-communicable diseases. The two sides also discussed ongoing medical projects in the governorate, the ministry's spokesman Khaled Megahed said in statements. The meeting was attended by Alaa Hashish from WHO's Egypt Country Office, representative of the World Bank Dr. Omar Shalqani, Assistant Health Minister for the therapeutic medicine sector Ahmed Mohie, Assistant Health Minister Ahmed el Sobki as well as members of the national committee for the control of viral hepatitis (NCCVH).
