CAIRO, Oct 1 , 2018(MENA) - The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said in a report on Monday that Egypt's domestic liquidity increased by LE9.1 billion to stand at LE3.466 trillion, at a rate of 0.3per cent, at the end of July. The increase in quasi-money came as a result of the rise in non-current deposits in local currency by LE10 billion, at a rate of 0.5per cent and in deposits in foreign currency by LE8 billion, at a rate 0.8per cent, the report added. The report attributed the decrease in the money supply to the decline in current deposits in local currency by LE5.4 billion, at a rate of 1.4 per cent.
